What we ate this Week

Hello Dear Reader,

Huge Parrot Fish caught by Hubby 

I try to vary what we have by using different protein and of course new recipes. We tend to eat a lot of fish (mad keen and very good fisherman for a Husband) which I am so grateful for as I know how much fish is to buy. We generally eat 2 -3 fish meals a week. Our most favourite fish dish is Tempura Whiting with rice and Chinese greens. Unfortunately we finished our last feed of Whiting last week and it will be a while until we go beach fishing again. We still have plenty of Reef Fish and "Curry" fish, it a good thing we love fish, and we never seem to tire of it.

Wednesday-leftover Pork Curry

Thursday- Pizza Night

Friday- Satay Beef with steamed Basmati Rice and Broccoli

Saturday- Thai Green Fish Curry with Steamed Basmati rice and papadums

Sunday- Pan fried Snapper and big tossed salad

Monday- Pork Sausages, Mashed Potato and buttered baby peas

Tuesday- Pork Sausage Thai Red Curry with Steamed Basmati Rice and Papadums

Our Favourite fish - Whiting, caught at our favourite place - Double Island Point 

Nice catch of Whiting 

A super charged Whiting -37 cms

Double Island Point, this is where we catch the Whiting, we go up there about 2 or 3 times a year
